Early Years

Wellington College Bilingual Tianjin Nursery welcomes local and international children aged 2–6 across Pre-Nursery, Nursery, Reception and Year 1. Our curriculum draws on the English Early Years Foundation Stage and the Chinese curriculum for children aged 3–6, giving pupils a balanced foundation for future learning.

Dedicated classroom teams guide children through purposeful play, phonics, mathematics, literacy and outdoor learning. This warm, language-rich environment builds independence, curiosity and the confidence to progress into Junior School.

Junior School

Our Junior School serves pupils aged 6–11 through a bespoke curriculum that combines the British National Curriculum with an international, future-focused Programme of Inquiry. Engaging lessons help children deepen their knowledge while developing confidence, empathy, leadership and the ability to communicate their ideas.

As pupils progress, they move from class-based learning towards greater subject specialisation. Along the way, they develop the independence, organisation and personal responsibility needed for a successful transition to Senior School.

Senior School

In Senior School, pupils explore a broad range of academic disciplines and are encouraged to think critically, pursue their interests and stretch beyond their comfort zones. Expert guidance helps each pupil make informed choices and build a pathway aligned with their strengths and aspirations.

Internationally recognised IGCSE and A Level qualifications prepare pupils for entry to leading universities worldwide. Alongside academic challenge, pupils develop the independence, communication skills and global outlook they will need for university and beyond.
