When screens dominate children’s attention, and textbooks become their only window to the world, we have to ask: What kind of growth can a child truly achieve this summer?
In 2026, the Wellington Residential Summer Camp will be fully upgraded. This time, we will lead children beyond the classroom, into mountains and fields. They will measure the land with their own feet, touch nature with their own hands, and forge a deep connection with the real world.
The concrete and steel of the city provide a comfortable life, yet they also build invisible walls between children and nature. Research shows that children who spend time in nature are more creative, resilient, and empathetic. Mountains and fields are not just scenery – they are a school without walls:
In the mountains, children learn reverence and the spirit of exploration.
In the fields, they understand cultivation and harvest.
Under the stars, they feel both their smallness and the vastness of the universe.
The 2026 Wellington Residential Summer Camp is precisely such a gift: an opportunity for a deep dialogue with the real world.
