We inspire our children to be the best version of themselves, to take pride in where they come from and to be the change they wish to see in the world.

3. Holistic Education, Empowering Individual Growth

We believe that the mission of education goes far beyond academic achievement. Through a rich array of co-curricular activities, house system events, sports, arts, and leadership programmes, we nurture pupils’ character, emotional intelligence, and resilience. We are dedicated to helping every child discover themselves, build confidence, and realise their potential to become the best version of themselves.

4. An Immersive Multilingual Environment, Nurturing Global Citizens

Our school brings together pupils and staff from around the world, creating a natural multilingual and multicultural environment. Here, English is not just a subject but a tool for daily communication and thinking. Pupils learn to communicate confidently in cross-cultural contexts, deeply understand and respect cultural diversity, and grow into future leaders with empathy and international competitiveness.

5. A Caring Community, Supporting Every Child’s Growth

Through our house and well-being systems, we ensure every pupil receives ample attention and personalised support. We are committed to building close partnerships with families to safeguard pupils’ physical and mental health and well-being, ensuring they grow happily and explore bravely in an inclusive, supportive, and challenging environment.

Our Early Years

Wellington College Bilingual Tianjin Nursery is specially designed to meet the needs of children between the ages of 2-6 years old and provides a quality Wellington education to both local and international families. Home to four-year groups, Pre-Nursery, Nursery, Reception and Year 1, our curriculum is linked to the expectations of the ‘English EYFS curriculum’ and the ‘Chinese curriculum for 3-6 years old.

Each class is overseen by an educational team in each class. Under their care, children spend much of their day exploring and learning through play as well as engaging in daily phonics, maths, literacy and outdoor learning. This builds a firm foundation that enables our pupils to advance into Junior School with confidence.

Our Junior School

Our Junior School is proud to offer education for children aged 6-11 years old, with a bespoke curriculum that expertly blends the British National Curriculum with our own international and future-focused Programme of Inquiry. Our ultimate goal is to provide a nurturing and engaging environment that cultivates self-development, a passion for learning, confidence, and leadership skills while fostering empathetic and independent thinkers who are proficient in communicating their views and navigating the global and digital world.

It is during the junior years that pupils make the pivotal transition from general classroom teaching to specialised teaching. As they move through the year levels, our pupils begin to develop a sense of independence and personal responsibility as they look to transition into Senior School.

Our Senior School

In our Senior School, we strive to instil a deep passion for global scientific, linguistic, and cultural heritage in our pupils through our curriculum. We encourage our pupils to explore a diverse range of courses and challenge themselves to step outside their comfort zone.

Our academic qualifications, including the International IGCSE and A Levels, equip our pupils with some of the most highly regarded awards worldwide and pave the way to the world's most prestigious universities.

Join us as we embark on a remarkable educational journey together, crafting an enriching growth story for your child at Wellington.
