We are delighted to welcome our Year 8 mums once again for ‘Take Your Mother to School Day’ on Thursday 10th May 2018.

You will be welcomed into the House in the morning and spend the day with your children, joining in lessons and taking part in LTAs and ASAs. Please remember to bring your PE kits as lesson one is relay sprint practice, and Mr Gater is keen for a team of mums!
For those like me who cannot sprint before their morning cup of coffee, I invite you to join me in the coffee shop during period 1 instead for any questions that you may have about KS3 here at Wellington.
Letters will be sent out this week and I ask that your son or daughter return the slip to me before Tuesday 7th to confirm numbers.
A polite reminder to wear your school lanyards for the day. Any questions please contact me at

Dear Art enjoyers as well as Art makers, it's time to be productive, catch and sketch all the juices from the trees appearing in the form of blooming flowers. As an old proverb says, 'If one week of cherry blossom is not enough to enjoy, neither will be the whole year'. So, no excuses, let's go to the park and celebrate the growing life as well as our gift to notice it. With a pinch of perspective, juxtaposition and vanishing points, see you all at 0830hrs on Friday, the School bus is waiting for us.
Also, Art class has some good news! We're proud to announce that we will provide Chinese translation for those who feel more comfortable conversing in Chinese. It will also be a nice opportunity to widen your Art vocabulary in Chinese and English at the same time, since we will provide key words for each Art topic. Chinese translations will start after the May Day break. We are happy to get New Art friends!
