Every Wednesday morning from 0900hrs, parents will have the chance to engage with the school in sessions that cover all aspects of your child’s education, from the Early Years to A Levels and university admissions. The venue will vary according to the anticipated audience, and for next week’s meeting, Mr Julian Jeffrey, the Master, will report on the Annual Review feedback from the UK inspection team. As you will have read, the report provided a comprehensive assessment on the strengths and weaknesses of the school, and Mr Jeffrey will offer an analysis of the results, as well as some brief suggestions for next steps. The second part of this process is a parent briefing on 13th June, during which more detailed plans for the coming year will be unveiled. Both sessions will be recorded and stored on the website for parents who cannot attend in person.
University Visit: Seoul National University
Seldon Theatre

Thursday 3rd May
There will be a visit from Seoul National University on Thursday 3rd May from 1000hrs - 1100hrs in the Seldon Theatre followed by a Q&A session for parents.
All Korean pupils in the Senior School will attend from 1000hrs - 1030hrs. Any other pupils and parents of other nationalities who may be interested in studying in Korea are warmly invited to attend. The presentation will be delivered in English.
Seoul National University is ranked number 1 in South Korea and 35th in the world and it offers a huge variety of degree courses delivered in English (as well as all of the courses delivered in the Korean language), including Medicine, Music, Fine Arts,Engineering and Education to name but a few.
Year 9 Mandarin Trip to Hai Riverside

In order to arouse the interests of exploring the richness of the history and culture in Tianjin, the Mandarin Department is organizing a Hai Riverside trip for pupils in Year 9 on May 4th 2018. This is a half-day trip from 0830hrs to 1200hrs. Pupils will need to wear school uniform and take student badge with them. If you would like to know about this trip please contact with

Stay and Play

Stay and Play is a wonderful opportunity for children who will begin their journey in the Early Years in August 2018, to experience life in the class. New parents will also have a chance to attend a Parent Briefing on how to help their children transition to school life at Wellington.
Year 6 Trip to UK
Sunday 6th May
In the early hours of Sunday morning, a number of sleepy-eyed Year 6 children will be embarking on the annual trip to London. As part of this trip they will see some of the most significant sights the UK capital has to offer as well as a trip to Wellington College in Berkshire. For many of our pupils this will be the first time they are away from home without family and thus it represents a journey into the unknown. Nevertheless, it will be an exciting adventure which will help them grow and mature before they begin life in the Senior School next year.
The trip will end on 16th May and children will return to school on the afternoon of 17th May after an overnight flight.

Welcome to Reading & Sharing Class! This event was inspired by some of the Year 6 mums who felt that they would like to create a chance to exchange ideas on topics other than kids and the school’s daily routine.
Here is what we will do: reading books over two or three weeks, then sharing ideas and listening to each other in two or three hours. Let’s make this Reading Group a special moment only for yourself as well as for the book you like. Please feel free to contact me at 712205@qq.com.

Each month we will be focusing on something new that you might like to try.
Expressing yourself in an artistic way combined with relaxing, inspiring music and a glass of tea or coffee can help you find your new daily joy. Come and join ART classes every Friday as soon as you leave your little one(s) in school.

Welcome to our newly introduced yoga classes at Wellington College. Yoga philosophy and practice has it’s origin in India. The word Yoga comes from the word “yuj”, which means "to yoke", to unite your body and mind. Regular yoga practice helps your body to become strong, flexible, balanced and healthy. The same will happen with your mind. Yoga has become very popular all around the world for its healing benefits. Doesn’t matter if you are new to yoga or regular practitioner, everyone is welcome.
