It has been a pleasure to welcome the Wellington College Annual Review Team this week. The Team members are highly experienced school leaders, advisors and inspectors, and their visit represents an important opportunity for an objective assessment of how well the college is doing and how we can develop and improve still further. The Review Team will feedback to me and the College’s Senior Leadership on Friday, so in next week’s ‘Week Ahead’ we hope to share their findings with you. In the meantime, I can say how much the Team are enjoying their visit, and have particularly commented on the impressive atmosphere of the School, and the quality and warmth of our teacher-pupil relationships. This is clearly a credit to our school community, and echoes the feedback we received from the Council of International Schools (CIS) Accreditation Team last term.
Review Team members this week also attended a lively rehearsal for next week’s production of ‘Calamity Jane’. No one was in any doubt that audiences for the full performances are in for a treat. I recommend the show to you as a ‘must-see’ musical event of great quality, entertainment and fun. Please see the notice below for further details.
