Wellington College International Tianjin was established in 2011 and is the first overseas partnership school of the prestigious British Wellington College. This month, we will present to you a full academic level campus open day event covering the kindergarten, primary, and secondary departments, aimed at students and parents who will enroll in this academic year or the 2025-26 academic year and beyond. Through the campus open day, you will have the opportunity to gain an in-depth understanding of Wellington's comprehensive curriculum system, rich teaching achievements, and advanced educational philosophy. A Level

A Level examinations are taken at 18 years of age, after a two-year course of study, and admission to universities across the world is largely dependent upon gaining top grades in these exams.

Mandarin Chinese

As a core subject of both the Junior and Senior school curriculum, Mandarin Chinese is taught to every pupil from pre-nursery to year 9 and is available as an optional subject in years 10-13 for IGCSE and A level.

House System Management

Upon enrollment, students in both the primary and secondary sections of Wellington College International Tianjin are allocated to one of five houses. Each house consists of students from different grades across the school, providing them with the opportunity to make friends from various age groups. The team of experienced and passionate teachers not only offers continuous support and care for the students but also helps them develop their talents in various areas.

Boarding House

The boarding house is managed by the school and is equipped with its own dormitory buildings and dedicated teachers. The dormitory buildings are well-equipped, offering a comfortable living environment, a quiet study environment, and a range of leisure and entertainment facilities for out-of-class activities, creating a good atmosphere for student interaction. The houseparents are staffed by both Chinese and foreign teachers from our school, who assist students with their after-school studies and organize a variety of colorful extracurricular activities.
