Year 6 London Trip - Day 5 & Day 6

We travelled back into Central London to start the day at Shrek's Adventure where we were guided by a range of characters to the land of Far Far Away. Aboard a simulator bus, we were transported into a magical world where we had to find ingredients for an important potion in order to leave the land as we had unintentionally killed Rumplestiltskin's favourite witch when the bus crashed into a tree. After a few frights and giggles we eventually escaped to the safety of Shrek at the end of our tour.

After eating our lunch, we walked to Covent Garden to the London Transport Museum. Here we explored the evolution of transportation from the 1800s to the present day.

//Day 6· Final day of the trip

Our final day before flying back to China was spent at Eagle House and Wellington College. For the first part of the day, the students buddied up with the Y6 pupils from Eagle House who then took them on a tour of the school. They then spent the morning break playing outside in the beautiful grounds before joining in with a Maths and Science lesson, which they absolutely loved. Next, we were treated to a delicious lunch before driving around the corner to Wellington College.

Upon arriving at Wellington College, we were immediately in awe of its immense size and stately grounds. We were welcomed by Mr. Wilson who gave us a brief history of the school before taking us on a walking tour. The students enjoyed meeting the Master, Mr. Thomas and finished the day with a friendly football game against some of the UK Wellingtonians.

Everyone has had a fantastic trip and the students will have much to share when we return to Tianjin!
