Year 6 London Trip - Day 4

07 May 2019
//Day 4· We had a big day today!
To begin, we visited the beautiful Natural History Museum. We explored the dinosaur, human biology and mammal exhibits which showcased everything from anglerfish to zebras.
After enjoying our lunch in the sun we then wandered to Hyde Park. The students again enjoyed some football and frisbee time in the sun.Next, we walked through the park and made our way to the famous toy store Hamleys. Here the students were well entertained with live singing and dancing, toy demonstrations and magic tricks. Everyone made purchases from sweets to a build-a-bear.
By this time, tummies were rumbling so we made our way to Planet Hollywood for dinner. We all had an absolute ball listening to music videos and dancing away to the songs as we ate. The students loved the live camera which panned over the restaurant customers and played on the big screens. Finally, it was time to make our way to the Cambridge Theatre to watch the fabulous musical, Matilda. We were absolutely blown away with the show and the talent of some very young actors and actresses. It was an eventful day and needless to say we all slept well!
