Four Hands Joint Piano Recital
07 Sep 2017
Simon Williamson- Director of music from Wellington college UK, will be joining forces with our own director of music; Faye Gossedge to present a four hand concert. This concert is a symbol of further collaboration between the two Wellington music departments. It is also an opportunity to dedicate the new Grand Piano in the Black Box Theatre which will be used for future student lunchtime concerts.
In this concert you will hear the captivating Fantasie for four hands; one of Schubert’s most important and final works; composed in 1828, in the last year of his life, and dedicated it to his pupil, Karoline Esterházy. We, in turn, wish to dedicate this performance to our outstanding students in the pursuit of their musical accomplishments.
Date: 18th September, 2017
Time: 1800hrs
Location: Black Box, Second Floor Related Articles
