A Midsummer Night's Dream

07 Apr 2017
"Hand in hand, with a fairy grace; Will we sing, and bless this place.” April is a significant month for the admirers of William Shakespeare. Four hundred years after Shakespeare's death, we celebrate the legacy of arguably the greatest playwright in the English language. For this occasion, the Junior Shakespeare Drama Club have prepared a special performance. Our young artists, who were learning during their ASA about Shakespeare’s life and writing - will present their version of the famous comedy “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”. We will be taken by the group of students from Year 5 and 6 to the ancient Athens and a mysterious forest, to watch a story about human love and pride, and to experience the magic of mischievous fairies.
