Wellington College International Tianjin win Cultural Award

Wellington College International Tianjin was awarded the Science and Cultural Contribution Award at the 6th “Model Tianjin” Corporate Social Responsibility Award Ceremony recently. The award ceremony was jointly held by 11 units including the Tianjin Commission of Commerce, government departments and the Tianjin Daily. Mr. Michael Higgins, the Master of Wellington College International Tianjin attended the ceremony on behalf of the College. “We are glad that the school has been recognized and honoured with such a prestigious award and it is also a great achievement and a truly valuable distinction. This award means our school's educational philosophy and perspective on individual education has been recognized by the local community. We will continue to provide the best of British education for families in Tianjin.” Mr. Michael Higgins commented. The "Model Tianjin" award was established in 2011 and honours recipients from small to large businesses in Tianjin. There were 11 award categories this year, with over 600 companies and organizations participating. This year’s voting campaign was through 5 different channels including WeChat, Weibo, Websites, Letters and Emails reaching a total of 100,000 residents in Tianjin.
