International University Fair 2016

On the 22nd September 2016, Wellington College Tianjin held its third Annual University Fair. More than 40 universities from all over the world attended. This year we introduced our Education Zone where we had a series of speakers giving presentations on university-related topics, such as ‘How to write an effective personal statement’. It was a busy afternoon and our pupils and those who came from other schools were buzzing with excitement. Wellington pupils from years 9-13 had been preparing for the fair for weeks, so they had a lot of questions for the Admissions Tutors. The universities commented on what a huge success the event had been, but more importantly for us, how impressed they were by our students. We are hoping that next year will be even bigger and better and we will, of course extend our invitation again to the whole of the Wellington college family and the wider community.
