Milepost 1's design and implementation skills were sharpened this week, culminating in a fun-filled pizza-making class at the St. Regis Hotel. As part of their IPC unit, We Are What We Eat, Year 1 and 2 students were required to think about a creative pizza design and what healthy toppings could be used. After carefully planning and labelling their pizza design, they then made a model of their pizza, utilising a variety of materials. Finally, to make the process authentic, children visited The St. Regis to make their very own healthy pizzas. Aspiring thinkers and doers, indeed!
