A Shakespeare Collaboration

A Shakespeare Collaboration

Today, we returned to Eagle House to do some work with their year 6 students as well as the year 6 students from the Wellington Primary Academy. The theme for the day was Shakespeare. The children were put in to three groups and rotated around different activities based on A Mid-Summer Night's Dream. In art, they were drawing different characters or quotes from the play; in English, they were creating instructions for how to make a love potion and in drama, they were working in groups to present lines from the play with appropriate actions.

All of the children got involved and made new friends along the way.

At the end of the session, we gave a presentation about our school in Tianjin. We had already taken photos from around the school and then talked about the different things that we have and do. Then we listened to the WPA do the same for their school, and we realised that we have quite a lot of things in common even though we live and study in different parts of the world.
