Milepost Two Charity Jumble
12 Apr 2016
On Wednesday 23rd March, Milepost Two (Years 3 and 4) took part in a jumble sale to raise money for International Relief Teams, a charity which specialises in providing emergency aid and help to people caught up in natural disasters. This charity was chosen as the children had just completed a unit called ‘Active Planet’ during which they learned all about the effects of earthquakes and volcanoes on local populations. The pupils of Milepost Two (and many others throughout the school) generously brought in books, clothes, toys and many other items which they donated. In total, RMB 5300was raised for the charity in just one chaotic hour. Congratulations to all Milepost Two pupils and thank you to all parents, pupils and other staff members who helped to support this event. Related Articles
