Year 2N Raising Awareness

Did you know there was a garbage patch twice the size of France in the middle of the Pacific Ocean? It’s called The Pacific Garbage patch. It mostly consists of plastic that finds its way into the sea. In their class assembly today, Year 2N raised this issue and questioned what could be done about it and more generally what could be done in our school, to REDUCE, REUSE and RECYCLE. In the period leading up to their assembly, children spoke to Ms. Doreen in our Operations Department about recycling in our classrooms. At the end of the assembly, Year 2N officially handed-over paper and plastic recycling bins to each class in the Junior school. Happy recycling!
