Happy New Year to all our Readers!

If you are a new reader of the ‘Week Ahead’, my name is Michael Higgins, Master of Wellington College International Tianjin, the first overseas partner school of Wellington College, one of the foremost schools in the UK.

As we move into our fifth year, I would like to express my thanks and gratitude to you all for welcoming us into the Chinese community. Your warmth and friendliness as people, and as a nation, are very special indeed, and here at Wellington Tianjin we feel privileged to serve here as teachers and educators in this wonderful country.  We very much wish to celebrate the New Year holiday with you in this spirit.

On behalf of myself, and all of the staff, pupils and families here at Wellington College International Tianjin, we wish you all the very happiest of Spring Festivals.  May you all be blessed with good health and great prosperity in the forthcoming Lunar Year of the Monkey.
