Moon Festival Celebration 2015

On Friday 25th September 2015, Wellington College International Tianjin celebrated the coming of Moon Festival through a series of activities organised by the Mandarin Department. Events included an assembly, traditional-dressing and theme gallery experiences. Teachers and pupils looked fantastic in a variety of traditional dress from countries all over the world. Pupils and parents also had the chance to experience what Chinese people would do in the theme gallery, making mooncakes, drinking tea, and listening to beautiful flowing Chinese zither music. The celebrations were combined with a worthy charitable cause, with teachers and students offering donations to a local Charity group, Free Lunch, to support children in rural area of China.
