Year 2 and Year 3 ISCOT Football
12 Jan 2016
TEDA International School hosted a very ambitious and successful ISCOT football competition for the Year 2 and Year 3 football players. Understandably excitement levels were high as the 4 teams departed on a hot Friday afternoon. The players selected had all worked very hard during lessons and after school activities and the teachers and coaching staff were optimistic the players would demonstrate their high level of ability.
This proved to be the case with all 4 teams performing with distinction and winning the majority of the games. All of the players made very valuable contributions and were a credit to Wellington College International Tianjin. Young Fraser Elrick covered every blade of grass and put in a complete and assured performance. Kai Yi Bayer was a pillar of strength in goal and Daniel Kim defended with authority. Karim and Timothy were outstanding, combining good dribbling skills with quality passing. Clara was brave and skillful and always played with a smile on her face.
I am so very pleased the children enjoyed the day so much and their success is a shinning example of what happens when you apply yourself and practice with purpose.
Many, many thanks to TEDA for hosting such a wonderful event and extended thanks to Mr Jason Yan, Ms Ellie Whyte, Mrs Wei and Mr Mason Jones for taking the teams to the event.
