Year 6 UK Trip - A Day of Collaboration

History was made today with the bringing together of the three schools: Eagle House, WCIT and the newly opened Wellington Primary Academy. The day was spent collaborating on a project around the theme of St.George’s Day and dragons. Each child from across the three schools produced a piece of art that was put together to make a large dragon, as well as working together to write a Kenning poem about dragons.
Friends were made, fun was had and amazing food was devoured!
We would like to thank Mr. Neill Lunnon, staff and pupils at Eagle House for making us feel so welcome in their school, and we look forward to more cooperative ventures in the future.
