Under 14s Basketball and Under 12s Basketball at TIS

Mr Zacharian and Mr Burnett took 2 basketball sides to TIS for their first official basketball fixture. TIS have a reputation for developing strong sides throughout the school for basketball. The students from Wellington have worked very hard during training and were excited to be matched against TIS. The Under 12s put in a spirited performance but their lack of game time proved the difference as they lost 20 points to 2. The under 14s were involved in a close match but eventually slipped to defeat.
There will be a lot more sport for these youngsters in the last two months of school. They should be pleased with their efforts.
