Year 2: Success, Twice-Over!

Year 2 children have two good reasons to feel very proud of themselves. Firstly, they put on an outstanding, Super-Hero assembly. The script, characters, stage moves, music and song, were delivered with fantastic clarity of voice and enthusiasm. In this assembly, they brought home the important message that you don’t have to wear a cape to be a Super-Hero!

Secondly, on Monday, 9th March, Year 2 children hosted their parents to an interactive and student-lead Inquiry Exit Point Activity for The Magic Toymaker unit. Children successfully talked their mums and dads through all aspects of this fun unit showing off hand-made puppets and self-designed board games. They were keen to share the design processes that were followed to achieve this. The activity was concluded with a tour of The Nest, the highlight being showing of the wonderful Year 2 toy exhibits.
