Milepost 3 become pizza chefs for the day!

To mark the end of their ‘Bake It!’ unit, Milepost 3 spent the morning at The Westin hotel making delicious Pizzas with the head chef of the in-house Italian restaurant. During the ‘Bake It!’ unit the students observed yeast in action, as well as baking their own bread in class. So this trip proved to be the perfect occasion as they made the pizza bases from scratch, loaded the pizza with toppings and managed to leave their plates completely empty. It was a great way to end the first term of the year!
