On Friday 21st of November, the Wellington Tianjin Basketball team travelled to watch Tianjin Steelers vs RongJang at Gegu Sports centre. It was a great game and all of the students enjoyed the experience immensely. The popularity of basketball has really grown this year and it was great to have senior boys and girls at the match. At half time all of the students were able to go on the court and join in the fun activities. Jason and Bill had a day to remember, both of them scoring 3 point shots on the CBA court in front of a capacity crowd. Tianjin Steelers won the game, and afterwards the students were invited onto the court. The students all learned a great deal from watching the elite level players.
