Roald Dahl Literacy Event
11 Jan 2016
Between the 13th – 24th October, Wellington welcomed back the drama specialists Round Midnight. Over the fortnight, the 2 visitors took the students for a host of entertaining and inspiring workshops based on the author Roald Dahl. The children from both the juniors and seniors really loved learning about him in this interactive and energetic way.
At the end of their two weeks, the children showcased their work to parents in the ‘Roald Dahl Literacy event’. We saw children roleplaying and dramatizing famous Roald Dahl stories such as The Enormous Crocodile, The BFG and, of course, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
Thank you to all parents who attended and supported the event. The children really had a wonderful time!
