ISCOT boys middle school football

The middle school boys football team competed against TEDA, IST and TIS at Wellington College, for the honour of taking home the ISCOT trophy.

The first game finished 2-1 against IST thanks to some clinical finishing from Roy and solid defending from Sam and Oscar.  The second game was against TEDA with a draw leading to a penalty shoot-out which we won 5-4. The final game was a dress rehearsal as Wellington faced off against TIS. A dominant display from the TIS forwards meant a 3-0 victory for the guests.

In the final Wellington once again played TIS and had revenge on the mind. It was a phenomenal display from all of the boys involved, but some incredible goalkeeping from the TIS goalkeeper kept the score at 0-0. It was heartbreak for Wellington In the final few seconds of the game as TIS scored a scrappy goal to secure the trophy.

A positive day for Wellington despite the loss, all of the boys should be proud of their effort!
