We’re all V.I.Ps in Milepost 1

11 Jan 2016

Year 1 and 2 recently ended their Who am I? Inquiry unit with a hugely successful V.I.P Day. Children hosted their parents by showing off the wonderful knowledge and skills they have acquired during this unit. The day encapsulated a celebration of identity and diversity which was evidenced in an array of national dress and international food delights (kindly supplied by our parents).

We are confident that as a result of this important International Primary Curriculum (IPC) unit, children in Milepost 1 have begun their journey of moving away from a self-centered picture of themselves towards a realisation that their ‘self’ is not just about them but is also defined by their relationships with others.
