ISCOT Swim Gala

11 Jan 2016

On 10th May, the Wellington College swimming team was invited for the ISCOT Swim Gala. The event involved squads from the junior and senior school, and expectations were high after a successful Swim Week inside school.

The Junior School performed with distinction throughout the day by winning gold medals in boys’ freestyle, boys’ individual medley, and girls’ relay. Overall the Junior team should be immensely proud of their performance and we hope they continue to enjoy swimming and competing.

The seniors also put in a great performance during the day and it was very pleasing to see the support shared between the Junior and the Senior students. They often swam above their age group and they always put in maximum effort in every race. The gold medal winning performance in the boys’ individual medley was a highlight of the day while everyone from the girls’ team performed well in all of their races.
