Inter-school Basketball Game

The Wellington Basketball team played against TIS on Tuesday, 18th March. The newly built Wellington team was definitely stronger than ever, while the long-term TIS team had played together for about three years. A close match looked likely.
The new Wellington team, with Bill and Jason at front, played a good game at the beginning. They scored a couple of 3-pointers each and got us about level with TIS after the first three quarters. However when it came to the last quarter, TIS took their opportunity when Wellington’s defense weakened, and ended the game a few points ahead.
Although the result was not what the players would have wished for, the occasion provided valuable experience. Many thanks to TIS for a great game.
