The Epic Wellington College International Science and Technology Week
With exciting and fresh new developments in Science and Technology reaching the news every week it is increasingly important to promote Science and Technology to young people. To mark the UK National Science and Technology Week (from the 17th-21st March), Wellington College International Tianjin held its own Science and Technology week.
Throughout the week students from all year groups excitedly attended an array of competitions and challenges related to Science and Technology. Each competition was designed to challenge, engage and motivate students in many different areas of Science and Technology. The enthusiasm, team work and creativity of our students was remarkable throughout. The events included: A mind boggling Multiple Choice Quiz, an innovative Design Challenge, a pH Rainbows Chemistry Challenge and a Tower Building competition. The events were very well attended and at each event there was an atmosphere of excitement, competition and fun.
