ISCOT Table Tennis Tournament
On Saturday 11th January REGO International School hosted the U.14’s ISCOT Table Tennis Competition. It was a great day for our students and they thrived in a competitive environment. The tournament was split in to two formats of a round robin competition in year groups, with the winners going through to the overall finals. We had five boys representing the College. All of the boys were competitive in their year groups and a couple just missed out in the final spots.
However, Ryoken made it through to the finals and played an outstanding young student from TEDA International School. Ryoken won the first set and then eventually lost 14-12 in the final set. The game was up to 11, so the boys were forced into 2 points clear, as it was so close. Ryoken went into the 3rd-4th play-off against a student from IST. Ryoken won both sets and finished winner of his age group and 3rd overall. An outstanding achievement and well done to all!
