A WORLD-BEATER AT WELLINGTON

Last summer Wellington in Tianjin gained some excellent examinations results. One result did stand out. Katie Cook from Wellesley House sat her IGCSE Mathematics a year early, at age 13, and did very well, gaining an A*. Nobody thought any more of it, that is until the Cambridge examination board in the UK notified the school last month that Katie had got the top mark not in China or even Asia, but the WORLD. She has been at Wellington College in Tianjin since the school opened in August 2011. Many congratulations, Katie!
