Wellington students shine in ISCOT cross country

08 Jan 2016

Wellington put in a commanding performance during the cross country event at IST on October 26th.   Expectations were high among the squad, comprising both Junior and Senior pupils, as many of them had displayed the physical and mental requirements needed in long distance running during After School Activities. However, cheered on by a group of enthusiastic parental supporters, the squad exceeded even these expectations and finished first in 7 of the 8 events.  All of the students deserve credit for the way they represented Wellington.  Notable mentions should go to Ben Cook, Lucian Jackson and Kieran Newton who secured very impressive times in their respective events.  Ally Choi also showed tremendous resolve to win a very close Under-11 girls race.

Squad – Evan Lee, Elliot Lee, Ally Choi, Oscar Goefron, Billie Archer, Katie kim, Stella Wang, Chelsea Archer, Ben Cook, Ian Park, Nicole Choi, Lucian Jackson, Ethan Tesdale, Eagle Wei, Daniel Kim, YuBin Lee, Judy Kim, Sarah Chang, Ye Lin Jang, Stella Smith, Kieran Newton
