Halloween 2012
There was an impressive array of skeletons, zombies, vampires, wizards, witches, ghouls and ghosts at Wellington’s Halloween celebrations on 26th October. Pupils from Nursery right the way through to Year 12 dressed up for the occasion and their teachers also had the chance to show off their costumes. Junior pupils enjoyed Halloween games and activities throughout the day, with a Halloween assembly and parade in the afternoon, with prizes awarded for the best costumes and best carved pumpkins. Parents in The Nest arranged a special cake and cookie-decorating activity for the children, who took home all their decorated goodies.
The Senior pupils got into Halloween mood after lunch by decorating their House rooms, which was followed by their own Halloween assembly, with prizes again being awarded for the best costumes. There was a great atmosphere around school as everyone got into the Halloween spirit and there were some very imaginative and scary costumes.
