Mini-Olympics
On Tuesday 17th April Year 5 were invited to take part in a mini-Olympics events being organised by the students of a local school. Upon arrival the students were split into different teams along with the other schools who were taking part. The children had the opportunity to take part in 4 events: dodge ball, beanbag volleyball, an obstacle course and a football challenge. The non-competitive event highlighted cooperation, teamwork and fun and the children enjoyed the opportunity to get to know children from other schools in the area.
