Wellington College Book Week Assembly

A special assembly was held to mark the end of a very successful book week on Friday, 17th February 2012. All the students paraded across the stage with their costumes celebrating a wide variety of book characters from Captain Hook to Cat in the Hat. Some students them performed a book parade play, which looked at the wonderful variety of books children can enjoy reading. The assembly finished with a special book song.
Other highlights of Book Week included a Book Fair in the library and competitions to design bookmarks and book covers and photographs of children reading in unusual places.
