The 2025 Forbes China International School Principal Selection Award Ceremony was held in Shanghai on 10 December. Candidates were rigorously evaluated across multiple dimensions including educational capability, management proficiency, institutional achievements, and industry influence.

Dr Yang Yang’s recognition as an "Outstanding Principal" reflects the judging panel’s endorsement of her exceptional performance and that of our school’s leadership team in the following areas:

·Forward-Looking Educational Vision: Articulating clear objectives for pupil development and institutional growth within the context of artificial intelligence and globalisation. 

·Notable Institutional Achievements: Guiding the school to make substantial progress in academic excellence, the holistic development of pupils, and community building. 

·Positive Industry Impact: Contributing valuable insights to the healthy development of international education in China through academic discourse and the sharing of practical experience. 

Dr Yang’s educational philosophy and management approach strongly resonate with key themes emphasised at the Forbes forum, such as "striking a balance between digitalisation and humanistic values" and "cultivating future-ready global competence," highlighting her calibre and dedication as a leading figure in education.

The Sina & Weibo 2025 International Education Summit, under the theme "Intelligent Education Integration, Resilient Coexistence," was successfully convened in Beijing on 16 December. The summit brought together prominent figures in the field to deliberate on educational innovation and ecosystem development in the intelligent age. 

Our school’s designation as a "2025 Reputable and Influential International School" represents not only a vote of confidence from society in our longstanding educational outcomes but also an affirmation of our sustained commitment in these key areas:

This honour aligns with the summit’s focus on the prevailing trends of "informed choice and diversified development" in international education. In an era of constant change, we remain steadfast in our belief that "excellence in education is the foundation of a sterling reputation."

This recognition serves as both an encouragement and an impetus for continued excellence.
