Once Again, We’re One of the ‘Best Companies to Work for in Asia’
HR Asia has once again named Wellington College Education (China) one of the ‘Best Companies to Work for in Asia’. For six years now, we have remained the only education group to hold this title.

Outstanding Survey Results
This award is the result of HR Asia’s annual survey. This year, we achieved exceptionally high marks with an overall engagement score of 88% and a net promoter score (NPS) of 92%. We scored a remarkable 92% in important categories, such as ‘Work-Life Balance’, ‘Collaboration’ and ‘Company Culture’. And we are confident that there is a strong correlation between these scores and the 94% we received in the ‘Trust’ and ‘Commitment’ categories.
It was also gratifying to see a remarkable year-on-year increase in the score of nearly every question asked on the survey. These figures remain well ahead of market and sector averages, too!
This recognition from HR Asia reflects our ongoing commitment to building an inclusive and supportive workplace, where every voice is heard and valued. We believe that diversity enriches our community, and we strive to create an environment where colleagues feel empowered to share ideas, pursue professional growth, and achieve a healthy work-life balance. By investing in staff wellbeing and fostering open communication, we ensure that everyone—from teachers to support staff—has the resources and encouragement they need to thrive, both personally and professionally.
Innovation with a Human Touch
But we are celebrating a new honour this year as well. We have received HR Asia’s 2025 ‘Tech Empowerment Award’. With this award, HR Asia recognises organisations that demonstrate exemplary efforts in leveraging technology, like our WCEC AI Space and Education 365 platform for our teachers and parents. These innovations help to enhance employee productivity, engagement and workplace efficiency. We can proudly say that this is the second time HR Asia has recognised us for our forward-thinking use of technology. In 2023, we received their ‘Digital Transformation Award’.
