In our increasingly globalised world, educational visits offer pupils invaluable experiences that cannot be replicated within the confines of a traditional classroom. This June promises to be a pivotal month, featuring a series of educational adventures that seamlessly blend learning with exploration.
Year 6 London Visit
This week-long journey was a highlight of their final year in Junior School, blending learning, exploration, and fun as they immersed themselves in the vibrant heart of the UK’s capital.

More than just a sightseeing tour, this trip embodied the power of Education Outside the Classroom (EOTC), offering pupils invaluable opportunities to grow academically, socially, and personally. Travelling as a group fostered responsibility, resilience, and teamwork.


Navigating London’s landmarks, managing their belongings, and making decisions in a new environment helped them develop independence and problem-solving skills. This trip marked the culmination of their primary journey—a chance to bond, explore, and create lifelong memories.

Senior School Indonesia Visit
The Operation Wallacea trip to Indonesia was an unforgettable experience for the pupils, including one week in a rainforest on Buton Island conducting conservation fieldwork activities and scientific studies that contributed to the conservation of endangered species. Another week was spent in a marine reserve on Hoga Island, where they participated in diving and marine conservation efforts.

Participating in the trip provided pupils with a unique combination of education,adventure, and meaningful contributions to environmental conservation. This immersive experience allowed them to engage in hands-on conservation and scientific research in diverse ecosystems, including rainforests and marine reserves, enhancing their research skills and cross-disciplinary knowledge.


The chance to explore unique ecosystems, along with the thrill of adventureand discovery, made this a memorable and transformative learning experience that equipped pupils with valuable skills for theirfuture.

Educational journey to Guizhou’s Fanjing Mountains
A group of enthusiastic pupils embarked on a six-day educational journey to Yinjiang County, located in the heart of Guizhou’s Fanjing Mountains. The trip was a unique blend of cultural immersion, environmental appreciation, and real-world learning about sustainable development.


As part of their cultural engagement, pupils explored the ancient art ofpapermaking at Heshui Papermaking Museum and participated in hands-on workshops with local pupils at Xinchang and Heshui Primary Schools. From learning traditional tie-dyeing techniques to performing the Tujia hand-wavingdance, these activities provided authentic insights into China's intangible cultural heritage.

The trip also highlighted the intersection of tradition and sustainability. Visits to local enterprises such as Gui Tea Group and Muhuang Liquor Co., Ltd. revealed how modern technology and cultural pride could drive economic development while maintaining ecological balance.
These experiences mark a significant chapter in the pupils' educational journeys, affirming the belief that learning thrives beyond textbooks and school walls. Encouraged by the lessons and skills gained, pupils are now better prepared to face future challenges, becoming well-rounded individuals eager to contribute positively to the world around them.
