First Day of School丨Embracing the New School Year

On Wednesday, August 21st, the pupils and teachers of Wellington College Tianjin returned to our beautiful campus, ready to embark on a new year of learning and discovery.

The first day of school was filled with energy as pupils reconnected with friends and teachers offered warm greetings. More importantly, it was a day brimming with the excitement of new beginnings and a thirst for knowledge. We are confident that our pupils will learn, make new friends, and achieve their dreams here.

Continuous professional development is essential to maintaining high-quality education. To support this, both our new and existing teachers participated in an extensive training programme over several weeks. This comprehensive training included new teaching techniques, plus refresher courses focused on deepening their knowledge, enhancing teaching skills, and improving communication with both pupils and parents.

Additionally, it emphasised leveraging modern technology for better teaching outcomes. Our teachers are better equipped to unlock pupils' potential and create a more interactive and engaging classroom environment.

Furthermore, this summer, we upgraded our campus to create an enhanced learning environment for our pupils.

The canteen now offers a more inviting atmosphere, the outdoor area features improved facilities, and the science labs are equipped with cutting-edge technology. These thoughtful renovations and updates are designed to support and enrich the educational experience across the Wellington community.
