At Wellington, we understand the importance of establishing strong connections between home and school. This partnership is crucial to ensure that pupils receive the best possible support. In the past academic year we went above and beyond by organising not only regular parent workshops and seminars, but also festive themed celebrations for parents. They are more than just occasions to celebrate the admirable and inspiring mothers and fathers in the community, but also serve as reminders to continue building upon this robust partnership. Encouraging parent participation in school activities is vital in creating a supportive environment that contributes to pupil success.

Mother's Day Retreat Workshop: An afternoon of Relaxation
Tocelebrate Mother's Day, we hosted a delightful Retreat Workshop, providing ourbeloved mothers with the perfect opportunity to relax, unwind, and explore. Theyoga session is designed to help improve flexibility, strength, and balance, aswell as reduce stress, anxiety, and depression.

Inaddition, for select mothers who have made significant contributions to school,we have offered a set of artistic photos with their children taken byprofessional photographers to create a lasting memory. This retreat not onlyoffered a break from daily routines but also fostered a sense of community andsupport among the participants.
Father's Day Football and BBQ: Fun and Festivities on the Field
Similarly,Father's Day was celebrated with equal gusto, with the school hosting a livelyevent full of festivities and sportsmanship. The event kicked off with anexciting football match where fathers teamed up with their children, showcasingtheir skills and sportsmanship in a spirited game.

Afterthe game, everyone gathered for BBQ feast. It was a fantastic opportunity forfamilies to bond over grilled delights, share stories, and enjoy a relaxedafternoon together.
The triumph of a series of events was a result of the unwavering dedication of both volunteers and participants. Without their enthusiastic efforts, such celebrations would not have been made possible.
